Do I need a state park sticker to visit Havenwoods?

No, but you can purchase stickers here to use at other state parks.


When are you open?

The grounds are open daily from 6 am to 8 pm. The education center is open from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. During December through February, the nature center is open 9 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Saturday hours stay the same.


Where are you located?

We are located one block west of Sherman Blvd. (43rd Street) on Douglas Ave (see Google map).


What can I do at Havenwoods?

You can hike, run, ride your bicycle (on limestone and asphalt roads only), watch wildlife, have a picnic, and enjoy being outdoors.


Can I bring my pet to Havenwoods?

Yes. Your pet must be controlled and on a leash no longer than 8 feet. About half of the property is open to pets (see trail map). You must clean up after your pet.


How can I support Havenwoods?

You can become a member of Friends of Havenwoods, volunteer your time, and encourage other people to visit.
