Do I need a state park sticker to visit Havenwoods?

No, but you can purchase stickers here to use at other state parks.


When are you open?

The grounds are open daily from 6 am to 8 pm.

From April 1 to October 31, the nature center is open from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.

From November 1 to March 31, the nature center is open 9 am to 3 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.


Where are you located?

We are located one block west of Sherman Blvd. (43rd Street) on Douglas Ave (see Open Street map).


What can I do at Havenwoods?

You can hike, run, ride your bicycle (on limestone and asphalt roads only), watch wildlife, have a picnic, and enjoy being outdoors.


Can I bring my pet to Havenwoods?

Yes. Your pet must be controlled and on a leash no longer than 8 feet. About half of the property is open to pets (see trail map). You must clean up after your pet.


How can I support Havenwoods?

You can become a member of Friends of Havenwoods, volunteer your time, and encourage other people to visit.
